Kobra is fast paced high adrenaline roller coaster ride. One of the best books I have read in years. So, without giving away too much of the plot I really liked how the main character would sometimes struggle with the morals of his profession and despite everything he goes through he remains true to himself and those he love. Very interesting from A to Z, honest, I purchased it just by being curious because I had heard great comments about it and it's worthy, I believe there are a couple of new books coming from Mr. Weaver, hope soon.
Kobra is an exciting thriller, one that keeps the reader connected, engaged and looking forward in turning the next page. Kobra has the feel of a suspense novel that brings home the life of a sniper. Kobra is a book that I would recommend to someone looking forward to a great read!!
This is very nicely done story that started fast and continued to maintain my interest from the very first page. It is told in the first person account that introduces Kobra as a principled man, a gifted athlete, and a loving person. It's certainly not a combination of traits one would expect in someone whose chosen profession is based on such a horrifying skill set that he uses.
The missions described are arrayed more or less in a diary format, with just enough of "flash backs" to fill the reader's curiosity about how he got to be what and where he is. He even meets the love of his life in another "agent", a woman who shares his occupation.
The cover states this is the author's debut novel and is the first in a series. I look forward to learning more about the two characters introduced in this book. Congratulations to Mr. Weaver. I hope he will continue to entertain us with more of his enjoyable writing style in the future.
I was very eager to read this as it came highly recommended..and i have to say it was by far one of the best books ive ever read..couldnt put it down from page 1!!
Nicely written book with an excellent story line. Mr. Weaver does a nice job of building his character and holding your interest throughout the novel.
I really don't like to read, but when I was told about this book I thought I might give it a try. As I started to read, it really kept my interest, the more I read the more I wanted to see what the next chapter had to offer. I would highly recommend this book "Kobra"to anyone who in joys a fast pace and it will keep your interest.
Kobra is an excellant written book and will hold your interest from start to finish. Once I started, it was difficult to put the book down. The action is fast paced and exciting, easy to read, and the story line flows smoothly from one mission to the next. I know Kalvin, and he was inspired to put his heart and soul into this book for our enjoyment. All your senses will be touched and you will be very happy you read the book. I can't wait for more.
